While it will be difficult, Nichols argues that we need to defend democracy by resurrecting the virtues of altruism, compromise, stoicism, and cooperation--and by recognizing how good we've actually had it in the modern world.

Tom Nichols is a staff writer at The Atlantic. He was a professor of national security affairs for 25 years at the U.S. Naval War College, and is the author of The Death of Expertise (Oxford 2017) as well as books on Russia, the Cold War, nuclear weapons, and the future of armed conflict. He was also an instructor at the Harvard Extension School and an adjunct professor at the US Air Force School of Strategic Force Studies. He is a former aide in the U.S. Senate and has been a Fellow of the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
He was also a Senior Associate of the Carnegie Council on Ethics and International Affairs in New York City, a Fellow of the International History Institute at Boston University, and a Senior Fellow of the Graham Center for Contemporary International History at the University of Toronto. Previously he was a Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, DC.
In 2017 Tom was named one of POLITICO Magazine's "POLITICO 50," the thinkers whose ideas are shaking up American politics and public life.
Tom is also a five-time undefeated Jeopardy! champion. He played in the 1994 Tournament of Champions, is listed in the Jeopardy! Hall of Fame, and as one of the game's top players was invited to participate in the 2005 Ultimate Tournament of Champions, where he played his final match.

Kein Trost. Nur Feuer versteht sich nicht als geschlossene Erzählung, sondern als offenes Textfeld. Es ist eine Einladung, hinzusehen – auf das, was im Verborgenen liegt, was schwer auszuhalten ist, aber gesagt werden muss.

The structure is important and especially the row for the entries for measure something. The focus of the results must be the improvement from quality in business processes, and not on income and expenses! This is the huge different from other Dashboards you found 1000 of times elsewhere and the CWR – Framework.
Blocking points must be removed as soon as possible. This also includes employees who torpedo the project for personal reasons. The structure in companies is usually not properly prepared. In projects, employees are almost always made up of internal and external people. That is the first point of friction, a social point that can be eliminated from the beginning if for example you play a game like "My user manual". The aim is to get to know your colleagues and to prepare yourself for the upcoming work together.
Der Autor Louis Melloy zeigt in dem Buch CWR Framework das es auch günstig geht. Daten und deren Aufbereitung sind der Schlüssel. Ich habe das Buch gelesen, weil ich in Begriff bin mich selbststämdig zu machen. Einfache Vorgehensweise anstatt viele Spezialisten anzuhäuern, Plus und Minus in einem Projekt und das vor dem Start gut vorbereitet werden muss unterstreicht der Autor. Dieses Konzept ist auf alles anwendbar, auch privat. Was mir auch gefallen hat sind die sehr ausgeklügelten Tabellen, die gegenseitige Beziehungen besitzen. Ich empfehle es jedem, aber vor allem denen, die ausserhalb der Norm eine geniale Vorgehensweise suchen. Zum Beispiel für ein Projekt. Wer viel Geld sparen möchte oder nicht weiß wie er mit seinem Geschäft anfangen soll, für den ist es ebenfalls lesenswert. Allein schon das Konzept des CWR Framework machte es lesenswert!
